Workflow Automation - the future of ITAM & Cybersecurity
Workflow Automation - the future of ITAM & Cybersecurity
Benefits - break down silos
There are many benefits to workflow automation, but maybe the most important one is to help break down organizational silos. Workflow automation often requires different groups to work closely together and share data which has often been siloed in the past.
Other benefits include improved efficiency, reduced errors, improved compliance, cost savings, enhanced visibility, improved customer service and improved data security. The latter was a surprise to us, but it makes a lot of sense. With manual processes the data is often shared in the open via Excel or other documents. With automation the data at rest can be encrypted while still being available to the automated workflow process.
Requirement - automated, accurate and up to date data.
Workflow automation runs on digital data and this data needs to be automated, accurate and up to date if your workflow is to be successful. See the short video below for examples.
